Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMC) isolation
Discover the power behind Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMC) isolation for research and clinical studies
Whitehead Scientific has an extensive range of products for PBMC isolation and downstream applications.
Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) form part of white blood cells, with a round nucleus and consists of lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells), monocytes and dendritic cells.
A primary step and the most common PBMC isolation method involves using a density gradient medium and centrifugation. Whole blood is first diluted with phosphate buffered saline (PBS) and then carefully layered over the density gradient medium.
Find tools below to help you isolate, count, select, freeze, store and thaw human PBMCs in your research. Need more, talk to an expert today.
